Esperanza Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars
Helping students, changing lives in our Community
Giving back to the community by volunteering is a characteristic that the Esperanza Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars supports and promotes.
We are always accepting and encouraging students and other community members to volunteer and assist us in our annual events including: the Toyota Leadership Event in January, the Annual Mayor's Gala in May, the Fourth of July Parade, and others where volunteers can help us give back to our community.
All Scholarship recipients are required to perform 25 hours of Community Service; since the Foundation began doing this, our recipients have given back over 20,000 hours of service to their Community.
The Esperanza Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars is looking to make a difference today and for generations to come. These events are made possible with the gracious help of our volunteers. Giving back to the community by volunteering Remember there is no "I" in Team but there is a "u" in volunteer! As we continue to grow we need the help of more volunteers to help us execute our events and help make Esperanza all that it can be. If you are interested in volunteering please feel free to Email us at Esperanzascholarshipfoundation@gmail.com and state what event you would like to help us coordinate.
There's always a need for new members for the Board of Directors. We meet on a monthly basis after working hours at our Ontario Headquarters. We also hold an offsite Strategic Planning meeting every two years on a Saturday. Board members usually attend our events, especially the Toyota Leadership Event in January and Annual Mayor's Gala in May. If you are interested please contact Esperanzascholarshipfoundation@gmail.com and we'll invite you to attend a Board Meeting so you can see what we are all about.
