Make Sure to check the Collegiate Partners section in the News and Resources section adjacent to this panel. It provides a diectory of 276 partner schools affiliated with Scholaship America. Many of these Collegiate Partners also provide matching grants including several prominent schools in California: UCLA, UC Riverside and Occidental College.

The Esperanza Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars is currently partnered with four local colleges and universities. Students who are currently enrolled as full time students in one of Esperanza's partner colleges have the opportunity of being connected with a campus leader, who is willing to recommend and assist the scholar during the scholarship application process. After a student is selected as an Esperanza scholar, the campus leader from an Esperanza partner college or university will make sure that the student has received the scholarship award, based on his or her completion of all Esperanza scholarship requirements. Every student who is awarded an Esperanza scholarship and is enrolled at an Esperanza partner college as a full time student has their scholarship matched. For instance, if a student is awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Foundation, then the partner college or university that he or she attends will match the scholarship with another $1,000, resulting in a total scholarship award of $2,000. High school seniors who are planning to attend one of Esperanza's partner colleges after graduation can also take advantage of this opportunity.

Partnering with different local colleges and universities allows Esperanza to leverage the scholarship amount given by our sponsors to provide additional financial assistance to local students attending college.

Esperanza also has similar arrangements with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the Herbert Fischer Scholarship Fund.

Local colleges and universities and other organizations with a desire to leverage their scholarship funds are encouraged to partner with Esperanza Scholarship Foundation Dollars for Scholars and should contact Sylvia L. Olsan via email, for additional information. Thank you for investing in our future community leaders!
